Successful year 2017 for STAGETEC

Berlin, January 2018: For STAGETEC, the Berlin-based manufacturer of professional audio technology, 2017 was a very successful year. With AVATUS, a new mixing console concept with trend-setting technology and a contemporary look & feel was presented. The fully IP-based console with multi-touch displays met with very great interest at trade fairs in Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Las Vegas and Tokyo from broadcast users as well as users from the theater and live sectors.

In terms of sales figures, the closing business year was also very successful for STAGETEC - 55 consoles were shipped, 43 of which were large mixing consoles. The range extends from large versions with 48 faders to the compact 8-fader console. "We are very pleased with the strong increase in sales, especially considering the market situation," commented Alexander Nemes, Head of Sales at STAGETEC. "After all, the market segment for large digital mixing consoles is very tight, and our consoles, especially AURUS platinum, have secured a top position. STAGETEC's mixing consoles and NEXUS routing system are always first choice when it comes to demanding installations."

Products from STAGETEC have been shipped to 20 countries on five continents. The largest markets include Italy, China, Russia and Malaysia. STAGETEC's Australian distributor tm stagetec systems celebrated an anniversary earlier this year - the 100th ON AIR flex console was sold.

"We would like to thank our customers for their loyalty, which is expressed in the very good sales figures. All employees and the management of STAGETEC value this trust very highly. We are looking forward to first projects with our IP console AVATUS in 2018, " explains Alexander Nemes.
