ST2110 JT-NM Tested" Label for NEXUS AoIP Interfaces from STAGETEC

Las Vegas, USA, April 2018: STAGETEC has received the "SMPTE ST 2110 JT-NM Tested" label for its NEXUS XFIP/RIF67 products at NAB. The JT-NM Tested program documents the extent to which products implement the ST2110 standard. The results were presented at the IP Showcase at NAB. STAGETEC participated in the ST2110-30 audio test and the ST2022-7 test with its NEXUS XFIP/RIF67 products. The catalog with the detailed description of the test procedure, the results and the list of participants, can be downloaded here: http://jt-nm.org/jt-nm_tested/.

"For STAGETEC, participation in the JT-NM Tested program was a complete success," sums up René Harder, member of the management team at STAGETEC and responsible for innovation management. "The use of IP is becoming more and more important in the industry. With it, the need to ensure interoperability between devices from different manufacturers is growing. The results of the independent tests make a significant contribution to providing users with guidance. Users can now better assess how our products can be used in interaction with ST2010 components for applications."

The Joint Task Force on Networked Media (JT-NM) was the organizer of the tests, which took place in Houston in March. The tests were conducted by the EBU and IRT (Institut für Rundfunktechnik GmbH). JT-NM promotes the development of interoperable IP technologies for professional media through standardized test procedures. The sponsors of JT-NM are the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) and the Video Services Forum (VSF).
