Bern/Switzerland, September 2017: An extended customer relationship has been agreed in a framework contract between SRG, the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation, and STAGETEC, the Berlin-based manufacturer of digital audio technology. STAGETEC prevailed over competitors in an international selection process. The framework agreement, which is basically unlimited in time, regulates the conditions for the purchase of audio mixing console systems for the TV and radio production sector.
"We are very pleased about this framework agreement, because it confirms that SRG with its corporate units and subsidiaries will continue to rely on STAGETEC technology in the future," affirms Dr. Helmut Jahne, Managing Director of STAGETEC. "With this contract, STAGETEC secures its position as a manufacturer of digital audio technology. At the same time, it is a commitment for us to continue the development of future-oriented technologies, such as audio-over-IP solutions."
The cooperation has existed for more than 20 years, and SRG subsidiary tpc ag is one of the Berlin manufacturer's loyal customers. During this time, tpc ag has realized large live shows and spectacular sporting events as well as sophisticated music and theater performances with technology from STAGETEC. For example, STAGETEC has equipped six tpc OB vans with audio mixing console systems.
