The distribution of media content in real time over IP networks has become a matter of course today. The advantages are obvious. As an alternative to dark fiber connections, signal management between NEXUS Base Devices is now also possible in a standards-based manner via audio IP streams according to SMPTE 2110. Simply connect one NEXUS terminal to each AES67 board, and the solution of fully integrated audio distribution can be used, together with all existing audio-over-IP features such as redundant networking with "Seamless Protection Switching" according to SMPTE 2022-7, as well as the possibility of remote production.
