Visit STAGETEC at the NAB (N1424) and prolight+sound (3.1 G83)!
Las Vegas/Frankfurt, April 2018: STAGETEC, the Berlin-based manufacturer of professional audio technology, will present several innovations at prolight+sound (3.1 G83) and NAB (N1424). As a German premiere, STAGETEC will show two new plug-in boards for the NEXUS audio routing system. AVATUS, the IP mixing console - presented as a concept only a year ago - can now be tested. New features are presented for AURUS and CRESCENDO mixing consoles. Premiering is CRESCENDO-T a special version of the console for theaters.
STAGETEC's Router Interface AES67 (RIF67) - the latest plug-in board for the NEXUS router - will be shown and demonstrated for the first time in Germany. The equivalent for the NEXUS base devices - the NEXUS Fiber and IP Interface (XFIP) - is brand new and will even be presented as a world premiere. Both boards implement the AES67.IO module as a result of the cooperation with DirectOut and support the approach of vendor-independent audio and control networking. The module enables the creation of high-performance audio networks via an audio-over-IP connection.
Modular, flexible and completely IP-based - STAGETEC presents its new console AVATUS. The manifold functionalities already implemented already give a good impression of the intuitive workflow-oriented operation. The display and operating philosophy of AVATUS is based on large multi-touch screens. Here, only the currently relevant, context-related functions are displayed. Another new feature is the color coding of faders and rotary encoders, which allows fast, intuitive operation. The size of AVATUS varies between one and eight control panels, which are interconnected via IP and can be remotely located for remote productions. Coupled with the decentralized mode of operation, the elimination of centralized control provides users with maximum flexibility, for example for multi-user operation.
At prolight+sound, STAGETEC will present CRESCENDO-T for the first time - the compact console with special features adapted for theater applications. The console will be presented in Frankfurt only.
STAGETEC's new software release 4.5 again brings many audio processing highlights for AURUS and CRESCENDO. Customers will benefit from the new features in all areas of application - broadcast, production and post-production as well as live sound reinforcement.
