STAGETEC trauert um Karl-Heinz Quinten

Berlin, Germany, October 2018: STAGETEC, the Berlin-based manufacturer of professional audio technology, mourns the passing of Karl-Heinz Quinten, a former employee who died unexpectedly on October 09 at the age of 61. Karl-Heinz Quinten distributed STAGETEC's products from 2003 to 2012. He was a passionate and successful salesman who cared for his customers in a very personal and committed way. His customers included, for example, WDR, NDR, Staatstheater Wiesbaden and Saarländischer Rundfunk.

Karl-Heinz Quinten had learned communications engineering at Telefunken. He then discovered his sales talent and worked in sales at Studer until the end of 1998. After a brief stint at Protec, Karl-Heinz Quinten was responsible for project planning at the system integrator BFE from the end of 1999.

"Karl-Heinz was a salesman with heart and soul. He enjoyed his work a lot and was very successful;" recalls Alexander Nemes, Head of Sales at STAGETEC. "When Karl-Heinz had to retire in 2012 for health reasons, it hit him hard. It was not in his nature to sit idly at home and so he still kept in touch with us and visited STAGETEC at trade fairs. We are very saddened by his early death and have lost a very valued colleague and friend in Karl-Heinz."
