Berlin, June 2017: STAGETEC, the Berlin-based manufacturer of professional audio mixing consoles and routers, offers regular training courses for its AURUS mixing console system in cooperation with the Verband Deutscher Tonmeister e.V.. After a first training course in May, which was very well received, the second date will be held in August. The training will last three days. On the first two days, participants will learn the basics of operating Stage Tec's mixing consoles and NEXUS audio router. On the third day, there will be advanced training.
The AURUS direct-access console has been on the market since 2002. Hundreds of consoles worldwide provide excellent audio quality in broadcast, theaters, OB vans, and live. NEXUS is the basis for networking, switching, and processing audio, control, and additional data in many installations worldwide. The training focuses on system basics, basic configurations, and operation of AURUS and NEXUS. On the second day, participants will learn how to configure projects and show files as well as the GUI menu structure of AURUS. Frequently used features such as scene automation and dynamic automation are also on the syllabus.
In the advanced course, participants learn about multitrack recording with AURUS and NEXUS logic programming. In addition, Christian Fuchs reveals tips and tricks from practice.
The AURUS training course is conducted by Christian Fuchs. He has decades of experience as a sound designer for live productions and has been working with STAGETEC mixing consoles for about 15 years. Participants can expect a particularly hands-on training.
The training will take place as a basic course from 15.08. to 16.08. at STAGETEC in Berlin. The costs are 500,- Euro plus VAT, for VDT members 300,- Euro plus VAT. The event will take place with a minimum of five and a maximum of twelve participants.
On 17.08. the advanced course will follow, this costs 280,- Euro plus VAT, for VDT members 180,- Euro plus VAT.
