Concept

STAGETEC’s audio network NEXUS is a well respected signal conversion and distribution tool in the professional audio industry. Emerging IP based signal distribution with standards like Ravenna, AES67 and Dante make it necessary to quickly deliver microphone sources in all formats without considering extended setup time or additional distribution hardware. Formats supported are: Analog, MADI, AES67 (Ravenna) and Dante.

Since every TrueMatch© input is converted to 4 individual output formats - each with its own set of parameters: LoCut-Filtering, Phase, Level and Limiter - requirements of any situation, from stage to program distribution, can be met. Up to four users can be logged in on the NEXUS 4split via a wireless access point. Access rights are granted to the user’s output format which they are controlling via a tablet (Android or iOS). Up to 16 scenes or presets can be saved and recalled for quick setup. Six of these presets have a preferred Quick Load area they can be accessed from. User 1 can control the edit scope of the other users. The unit can also be controlled remotely using a standard web browser.

The NEXUS 4split offers 4 outputs per input channel and sends it simultaneously to each format installed.

The patented TrueMatch© technology provides uncompromising audio quality. It features minimal transducer errors, low distortion, and improved aliasing suppression, while achieving an otherwise unattainable dynamic range of 158 dB.

The special four-stage operation of TrueMatch© converters renders the need for analog pre-amplification unnecessary. Analog overload or component noise is thus eliminated.
