Buttenheim, October 2005: SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP announces the appointment of two new staff members at the Buttenheim headquarters: On 1 October, Wil Stam and Guido Kacher joined the team. Stam complements the international sales department while Kacher is in charge with project management and the distribution of C.A.S. intercom systems.
Wil Stam: Focusing on the Asian Market
Wil Stam from the Netherlands supports the international distribution, in particular, in the APAC region. She concentrates on the market of P.A. systems for theatres, operas, and concert and multipurpose halls. Stam is perfectly familiar with both that market and the specific features of that region: After having been the head of the P.A. department at the Het Muziektheater opera in Amsterdam for several years, she went to Klotz Digital in 1998 and worked at the Kuala Lumpur and Sydney branches for altogether six years. Before taking up her new job at the MEDIAGROUP, she was managing director of a sound-reinforcement provider in Amsterdam. »In Wil Stam, we have found a high-calibre expert in audio technology and an authority on the Asian market at the same time. The international sale of the range of C.A.S. systems and the planning of professional installations are Guido Kacher’s main duties. Being a qualified industrial clerk and business administrator, Kacher has been in the audio industry for more than ten years, with a main emphasis on stationary installations. During his career, he first worked in the product management of EVI-Audio (Electro-Voice, Dynacord). Later, in 2002, he changed to Trius Germany, an audio distributor, where he was in charge with the overall implementation of projects on the German market and with the product management of the L-Acoustics brand. »With their C.A.S. line, SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP offers economic yet highly flexible solutions. These cover a large field of applications ranging from simple paging systems to complex sound-reinforcement installations and, in particular, VDE/EN-compliant systems. In addition to classical sales tasks, I will also be jointly responsible for technical design and further product development. With their latest appointments, SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP makes allowances for their strong and permanent growth, in particular, on the vital export markets. »The opportunities for selling digital audio technology not only on the APAC market but also in the U.S. and many other markets are still great«, says Stephan Salzbrenner. »We can see that from the extraordinarily big success of the AURUS and the NEXUS in these fields, among other things. Also, we observe already today that there will soon be a growing demand in Germany and Europe, too: Due to the FIFA World Cup and the Winter Olympics, and the accompanying changeover to HDTV, there will be prospects from the fields of TV broadcasting and stationary installations – for example, stadium extensions. This was one of the reasons for recruiting new staff for distribution and project planning tasks.«
