World Premiere: MEDIAGROUP Announces New On-Air Console for Radio Broadcasting

Berlin, September 2010: At this year’s IBC in Amsterdam, SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP will present a real innovation at their booth (Hall 8, C 80). A compact and intuitive radio broadcasting console for self-op use by STAGETEC from Berlin!

The STAGETEC ON AIR 24 console consists, from the operator’s perspective, of very compact fader panels, each with four faders, plus a monitor panel. The interface was designed specifically to ensure quick and accurate operation. A GUI-based PC software application enables the technical supervisor to prepare and support self-op use in the best possible way.

On the hardware side, the STAGETEC ON AIR 24 console is similar to the STAGETEC AURATUS compact mixing console in that it relies on the NEXUS audio router. NEXUS not only provides the I/O interfaces but also acts as host to the mixing-console processing board. Thanks to this proven design, the new mixing console offers the same degree of exceptional audio quality, reliability and easy integration familiar to users of other STAGETEC products including the large AURUS, CRESCENDO, and AURATUS consoles.
