PANTURA Applications

Simply Big

Especially big installations benefit from PANTURA’s intelligent, modular, all-in concept. Each PANTURA Speaker Matrix Module is connected to line amplifiers and can manage - and monitor - up to 32 speaker lines. The speaker matrix itself is controlled by the aptly named PANTURA Controller.

Already one controller can manage public address systems of up to 256 speaker lines. That’s ample horsepower for shopping malls and sports arenas!

04-stadion-thumbYet, PANTURA is equally at home at the heart of larger systems. Linking the PANTURA PA system of a second building is as easy as establishing a connection between the two controllers. Optical cable links can span several kilometers and are available in a redundant configuration by default.

Permanent Monitoring

PANTURA’s constant monitoring of all system components, including the speaker lines, is complemented by an automatic redundancy switching routine in the event of a failure. Errors are signaled via several channels: in the display of the defective device, in one or several additional displays, and by the logging printer. Of course, any failure that may occur is also indicated by means of an acoustic signal. This allows simply the operator to repair or replace the defective module or cable.

PANTURA’s system redundancy can be customized for each installation, depending on the requirements. This may include the amplifier power and network integrity - or even double wiring throughout the premises.

Another crucial aspect of a fail-safe evacuation system worth its salt is perfect speech intelligibility. And, of course, password-protected access to the system’s vital functions to avoid unauthorized tampering.

Being all-digital, PANTURA naturally also delivers on that count.

Effectively Safe

pantura-anwendungenPANTURA is based on an all-new strategy for a task-oriented allocation of the available amplification power. For each announcement, the system calculates the power required to deliver the message to the requested areas and activates the resulting number of amplifier channels.

Dynamic Power Allocation

Dynamic power allocation allows for efficient systems that use a minimal number of power amplifiers. This keeps the investment and operating cost down, because fewer amps occupy less space and generate less heat that needs to be dissipated.
Another advantage of the dynamic power allocation system is that possible failures are of no consequence to the system’s overall reliability. No emergency power amps needed!

Emergency Control

The PANTURA system is able, even in case of a malfunction of the system controller itself – to activate inside the speaker matrix all loudspeaker lines via an external 24V control voltage. Via an connected emergency microphone the evacuation can be done surely.
