TRIAGON User Concept
Illuminated keys for intuitive operation
Many buttons are fitted with an LCD for at-a-glance confirmation of the settings in use. Button function names are displayed in full. All other keys can light in three different colors for clear status information. The glowing state of disabled buttons, and inverse LCD read-outs, not only help engineers in dark environments, but also clearly indicate which functions are currently disabled.
All “pots” are ALPS digital incremental encoders, with integrated switching function. The current setting is displayed by means of a 31-segment LED corona. Levels are set using high-quality ALPS 100mm faders. All faders are touch-sensitive.
Pull-Out Keyboard
A pull-out keyboard is located below the hand rest in the console’s front section. In addition, a 50mm trackball is available for controlling the graphic user interface.
Channel Strip Features
The “Large-Channel” strips are equipped with a motorized fader and 6 keys. In addition, there are three freely configurable rotary encoders with associated keys, all of which can be used to control channel parameters or different channels. A SWAP function allows the operator to route the three encoders’ functions to the fader.
The following functions are directly controllable using dedicated keys:
ON/OFF – Channel on/off- SELECT – Selects a channel for centralized control
- PFL
- SOLO
- FADER 0dB – Resets the fader to 0dB but can also perform other functions
- N–1 functions (on broadcast versions)
- ISOLATE – Excludes the channel from theater or standard-version automation
- SWAP – Switches between “Large Channel” and “Small Channel”
Central Control Unit
The control modules in the central control section provide access to the converter parameters of the NEXUS audio network. They are used to set the gain, enable phantom power, phase inversion, and subsonic filter control.
Copy Functions
The all-digital mixing console concept greatly simplifies day-to-day operation. Channel parameters, for instance, can be copied individually or as groups from one channel to another, while EQ and dynamics settings can be stored to library files for future use.
Monitoring
A dedicated monitoring panel is available, providing instant access to the programmable monitor paths (control room, headphones, solo and auxiliary sources).
Control Functions
TRIAGON also allows you to control your outboard gear via serial and GPI connections that can be recalled at the press of a button. The exact layout and functionality are built to the client’s specifications. Here, too, flexible feedback is provided by LCD-equipped keys.
