TRIAGON Audio Server
Signal processing within TRIAGON is performed by means of a separate audio server whose processing capability can be increased ad lib.
This 19” device communicates with the console, or the control computers via an Ethernet connection and can be installed into a standard rack in the machine room.
The system can handle up to 128 inputs and outputs, and up to 84 buses.
Extensive Audio Processing
The available audio functions include fully parametric EQs, a dynamics section with a compressor, limiter and an expander or gate as well as signal delays up to 256ms. I/O-signal resolution uses 24 bits and is AES/EBU compliant.
The audio server can be used at sampling frequencies of 44.1kHz, 48kHz or 96kHz (optional), with automatic wordclock sync to the NEXUS system. Internal signal processing involving multiple DSP cards is performed with 32-bit floating-point arithmetic, so that signal clipping inside the console is virtually impossible.
Reliable Operating System
All control functions run under Linux, the fastest and most reliable system for these kinds of operations.
Based on an Ethernet network (Cat6/RJ-45 standard cabling), the system supports simultaneous multi-console control. PCs and notebooks for additional control can be connected as and when necessary.
