TRIAGON Audio Network
NEXUS Integration With TRIAGON
TRIAGON communicates with NEXUS. The TRIAGON audio server connects to the audio network via a fiber-optic line, using a MADI card that can be installed into any one of the available NEXUS base devices. TRIAGON uses a standard RS 232 line for controlling NEXUS functions.
› The output signals of external devices are fed to the appropriate cards of the nearest NEXUS base device.
› These resources are available to the entire NEXUS system and transmitted to the console’s audio server in the MADI format.
› NEXUS input routing to the MADI line that goes to the audio processor can be controlled via the console’s matrix software and automated. This even allows for employing multiple consoles within an audio network, each handling a different set of inputs and outputs.
› TRIAGON’s input routing system is used to assign the MADI console inputs to the desired channel strips.
› Signal processing is performed by those channels. Similar to analog desks, all signals can be routed to the desired buses.
› The buses are transmitted to NEXUS via TRIAGON’s output routing matrix.
› The system’s output signals can be routed to any of NEXUS’ digital or analog output sockets.
