KSC Manager

The KSC Manager is a controller for routing matrices. It provides for remote-control of video and audio routers of any make in an object-oriented and event-specific manner. The KSC Manager was designed by BFE Studio und Medien Systeme GmbH, who also offer it as a standalone product.
Although the NEXUS has always supported the KSC Manager, full integration of the NEXUS control features into the KSC Manager is now possible as a result of a close co-operation between Stage Tec and BFE. A purpose designed NEXUS server receives all scheduled audio-routing settings and applies them to NEXUS crosspoints at the correct moment. For these purposes, the KSC Manager database communicates with the NEXUS server. All time-critical operations are triggered directly on the NEXUS server.
The key benefit is ultra-fast operation even if many routing actions occur simultaneously. In addition, the extensive diagnosis options of the NEXUS are brought together in a detailed operating protocol — considerably simplifying monitoring of the overall system.
