NEXUS Features
Matrix Windows
Making and breaking I/O connections on the NEXUS audio network is carried out in so-called matrix windows. The routing status of individual crosspoints is represented by the colours of the associated buttons and can be changed with a simple mouse click. In direct mode, all changes are made immediately. NEXUS also offers a prepare mode where multiple crosspoint settings can be set up in advance then subsequently simultaneously applied with a single mouse click.
Apart from the overall matrix view, separate partial matrices can be created that show only those inputs, outputs, and processing channels actually required. Partial matrices are part of a project file.
A special partial matrix showing only the currently enabled crosspoints can be generated at any time.
