SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP, a consortium of several expanding companies from Germany focusing on the fields of professional audio, video, and intercom technology, is now intensifying the activities in Asia. »The Asian market gets a major importance for us: Here we can offer our long experience to an interesting and fast-changing market,« explains Sam de Pauw from the International Sales Department. Broadcast Asia would have been a perfect platform to strengthen the contacts especially into China, Corea, Singapore, Japan and Malaysia. Sam de Pauw adds: »Anyway, we use the time now to redefine our distributor network throughout Asia. Although it is still too early to announce our new distribution partners, we already can reveal that they all have a high reputation in the Asian pro-audio business.«

SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP is one of the major systems integrators in Europe and a leading manufacturer in the international market. As general contractor, the consortium plans and implements intercom and paging systems, complex audio networks, and digital audio and video studios as turn-key solutions. Another branch is specialized in building O.B. vans for TV and radio production.

A second business segment is the development of high-quality products such as digital mixing consoles, audio routers, or intercom systems. These products can be found in hundreds of installations throughout the world, e.g. in the concert hall of Wakayama (Japan) or in the governmental radio station in New Delhi (India). Other implementations are in theatres and operas, in broadcasting and film studios, and in exhibition centres, convention centres, and multipurpose venues.

The new AURUS and C.A.S. MIX 64 digital consoles actually are highlights of the wide-spreas product range. AURUS is a new high-end console for live use and production. It offers up to 96 channel strips and 256 audio channels. In contrast to other digital consoles, AURUS features an analogue-style surface with full instant control to the mixing-functions. C.A.S. MIX 64 is a very compact and flexible mixing-console system for sound reinforcement applications. It is particularly intended for the use in smaller theatre and broadcasting environments. Both systems fully integrate into NEXUS audio networks.
