Amplifier Control

Controlling power amps using NEXUS: Any Base Devices on the audio network can be equipped with universal XCI communication-interface boards, designed for connecting remote-controlled power amplifiers.

The XCI provides four serial ports for controlling up to 64 power amplifiers, for example, by SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP, QSC or Renkus-Heinz. d&b amplifiers can also be connected. (This requires the use of d&b RIB Remote Interface Bridges).
 
The independent, self-contained amplifier-control program runs on NEXUS control computers. The amplifiers can be controlled either in groups or individually; the available functions and indicators depend on the precise amplifier types in use. The settings of any controlled amplifiers or amplifier groups can be stored and recalled.
