Relay-control Signals
Controlling
and Signaling Using NEXUS
The XRI relay-interface
board is available for reading, generating, and distributing relay-control signals.
Depending on configuration the board features galvanically isolated input and switched
relay contacts.
Input and relay functions are pre-programmed with regard to the specific
application. For example, the following applications can be implemented
using the XRI boards:
- Signalling and remote-start distribution via NEXUS
- Switching of pre-determined crosspoints using dedicated keys
- Crosspoint-status indication via lamps
- Indication of NEXUS system messages via LEDs
Serial Controller
The XCI board is available
for connecting or controlling external components. XCI boards also have
an application-specific configuration. The board incorporates a dedicated processor
and four independent ports to meet even the most complex requirements.
The board is available with various port configurations, for example, RS
232, RS 422, or Ethernet, and supports various protocols.
Suggesting applications include:
- Controlling external machines from an AURUS or CANTUS mixing-console
system
- Controlling the NEXUS using external controllers or sequencers
- Interfacing to intercom systems made by SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP
- Connecting NEXUS control panels
- Controlling power amplifiers
- And many more…
