Version XJU-d05
The d05 digital signal processor was specially designed for digital
dynamics processing of audio signals before broadcasting. The output
level can be limited transparently without affecting the pre-emphasis
usually applied to FM transmission systems.
- increased signal density and loudness without side effects
- complex program-controlled level algorithms
- 4 program types: Universal, Classic, Pop, Speech
- digital pre-emphasis filter (50 µs, 75 µs, or J.17)
- digital audio compressor/limiter
- audio-signal limiting without pre-emphasis affection
- optimized modulation using Adaptive Spectral Processing
- stereo or dual modes
- controlled from NEXUS
Signal
processing inside – NEXUS provides multiple alternatives
for that: XJU processor board. The XJU
board is available as version with no front panel; these board
can be installed behind front panels of other 8-DU boards to save space.
Version XJU-mpx01
The digital limiter mpx01 ensures the audio-signal compliance to
existing FM-transmission standards. The module board integrates a
peak limiter and a modulation-energy limiter. The control processes
are calculated based on the input audio signal. A new algorithm specially
developed by Jünger Audio is employed for limiting the mpx power
on the basis of the stereo signal. The output level of the mpx01
can be transparently limited with regard to the standard pre-emphasis
applied to FM transmission systems. Thanks to the peak limiter and
the Adaptive Spectral Processing, the unit provides for increased
loudness for a multitude of pre-emphasis settings.
- peak/modulation-energy limiter
- program-dependent control algorithms
- digital audio-limiter for FM transmission
- audio-signal limiting without pre-emphasis affection
- optimized modulation using Adaptive Spectral Processing
- controlled from NEXUS
Version XJU-d01/2 (on
request)
The d02 digital dynamics processor is a high-quality compressor/limiter/expander
for dynamic processing of analog and digital audio signals in studio
applications. The d02 is easy to operate and requires only a few
user settings for achieving optimum results; all other parameters
needed for accomplishing an inaudible dynamic processing are set
and constantly optimized on the basis of the program signal. The
processing results in a higher program density and loudness while
the program stays free from coloring, pumping, breathing, distortion,
or modulation effects.
- digital compressor/limiter/expander
- stereo or dual modes
- controlled from NEXUS
