SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP Expands Distribution
Network
New Distributors in Greece and the Middle
East
Buttenheim, November 2006: The SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP
is expanding its network of distributors. Philippos Nakas Co. in Greece and Tamor
Co. Ltd. in Saudi Arabia will now be heading up distribution for the south-east Mediterranean
and the Middle East. Both companies joined the MEDIAGROUP distribution network in
June of this year.
Based in Athens, Philippos Nakas Co. is the largest music
house in Greece with 200 employees and annual sales of approximately 30 million Euros.
It is the only Greek company in the music, sound and lighting industry that is listed
on the Athens stock exchange. One division of the company, with 64 branches, of which
24 are franchises, focuses on the sale of musical instruments and consumer electronics.
A parallel division is focused on systems contracting and pro audio technology sales.
Starting this August, Nakas will take over the distribution of the entire MEDIAGROUP
product line for Greece and Cyprus. This line includes not only consoles and routers,
but also PA systems and media technology. Nakas is equally focused on the various
segments of the pro audio market, including broadcasting, production, live and fixed
installations. “The
MEDIAGROUP product line stands for top-of-the-line quality audio products while meeting
the demands of just about any application range thanks to its enormous flexibility.
We are excited about working with a company whose product line fits so perfectly
with the wide ranging needs of our client base” states Kostas Giokas, marketing
and sales manager at Nakas.
Tamor Trading & Contracting Co. Ltd. is a technical consultancy and trading
company in the business fields of TV and radio, sound reinforcement, and recording.
Tamor was founded by a group of esteemed consultant engineers and is headquartered
in Riyadh. From the dynamic capitol city of Saudi Arabia, the 5-employees company
provides full service for its clients, ranging from project planning and distribution
all the way to systems contracting and turnkey solutions. Regarding the MEDIAGROUP
products, Tamor will focus primarily on television and radio broadcasting, while
also setting its sights on the growing events market in the Middle East. “The
middle-eastern countries offer significant growth opportunities for manufacturers
of pro audio technology, since they have just started seeing the benefits of moving
from analog to digital,” explains Günther Schneider, MEDIAGROUP regional
sales manager, “we want to take advantage of these opportunities.” |
