SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP
Striking
Harmony on the Eve of the IBC
At this year's IBC, SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP will present a
multitude of attractions, especially from their range of digital mixing-console
systems. The MEDIAGROUP comprising five companies is one of Europe's
leading manufacturers and systems integrators in the professional audio
technology field. Almost the entire product range will be displayed
on a 77 square-metre stand. The latest developments from recent months
will be the centre of interest. The large mixing console AURUS, which
was specifically designed for live and sound-reinforcement applications,
and the modular mixing unit C.A.S. MIX 64, designed for use in NEXUS
networks. Of course CANTUS III will also be on show. This freely configurable
digital console is the perfect complement to the product range.
"All the three consoles are attracting great interest," says
Stephan Salzbrenner, one of the consortium's managing directors, pleased
with the visitors positive response to the technical innovations presented
at the booth. Some of them have already ordered their new equipment
and delivery is imminent. For e-xample, the Swedish Broadcasting Service
in Stockholm will install one of the new AURUS consoles into their
O.B. Truck later this year. On the other hand, the BR Bavarian Broadcasting
Service have ordered several CANTUS III consoles to outfit one of their
TV Trucks and two audio Trucks. The same is true for Italian Broadcasting
Service, RAI. Their O.B. Trucks 8 and 9 are to be fitted with the desk.
With ten consoles to be delivered in 2003, the AURUS, which was only
introduced in production-ready form in spring of this year, has become
a real international success: Besides the SBS in Stockholm, institutions
from Tokyo, Bratislava, Luxembourg, and of course Germany are among
the customers.
"Already, we can look back upon an unusually successful year," Stephan
Salzbrenner comments on these achievements. "Today, we can see
the pay off from investing the bulk of our resources into product development," the
managing director continues.
The consortium has been continuously growing during
recent years. Their activities as providers of professional audio
and intercom technology
and their traditionally strong position in the broadcasting/TV-studio
and theatre installation market was perfectly complemented by establishing
a new division for outside TV productions (in co-operation with tv
productioncenter zürich AG) in 2001 and by the acquisition of
DELEC, a manufacturer of digital intercom systems, in 2002.
Stephan Salzbrenner regards the SALZBRENNER STAGETEC
MEDIAGROUP as well-prepared for the future: "With AURUS, CANTUS III, and C.A.S.
MIX 64, we cover a huge spectrum of applications and provide tailored
solutions for almost any requirement - within as well as outside Europe"!
