Luxembourg's Grand Theatre de la Ville
Goes with AURUS
The SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP is highly satisfied with the successful
sales of the new AURUS large digital mixing console. Three AURUS desks
at once will go to the Grand Theatre de la Ville capital theatre in Luxembourg
in the second half of the year while four more will be delivered to customers
from Germany, Sweden, and Switzerland. Altogether more than ten orders
have already been placed even before the first AURUS desks have been
shipped.
The AURUS installation at the Grand Theatre de la Ville is part of the
total restoration of the theatres. The big house with its 900 seats will
be equipped with a console featuring 40 channel strips and 96 audio channels
plus a mobile console with 24 channel strips. A 32-channel-strip AURUS
will be installed for the smaller studio stage. Routing features are
implemented using one NEXUS network for each of the two stages; both
networks are interconnected via MADI.
The Grand Theatre de la Ville is a venue for the most various ensembles.
The ease of use and a quick understanding for external engineers therefore
have been the major reasons for choosing AURUS. The same is true for
short setup times of the analogue-style digital console.
