The AES: A Success for the
SALZBRENNER
STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP
The SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP is highly
satisfied with the course of the 114th AES Convention at Amsterdam.
Despite the difficult market
situation, more customers and prospective buyers visited the stand
than last year. Stephan Salzbrenner was particularly pleased, by the
increasing interest of visitors from eastern-European countries: "This
year, there have been significantly more interested parties from Poland,
Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Russia than at the previous conventions.
Therefore, our estimates of the major market potential of our products
in these countries have once again been confirmed," said the co-owner
and managing shareholder of the SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP.
In particular the new AURUS proved to be a magnet for visitors. After
the successful demonstration of a prototype at the 112th AES Convention
last year, this time the fully-fledged version of the high-end digital
console was presented to the public. Instant access to all channel
parameters with simple and quick operation makes the AURUS the perfect
live and production desk for the most demanding applications.
The AURUS had already got off to an excellent start even before the
Convention began. "We have already sold eleven AURUS systems and
will start delivering them in the middle of the year," says Stephan
Salzbrenner.
The second big novelty at this year's Convention was the new CANTUS
III console that provides a multitude of improvements over its predecessor.
The heir of the successful CANTUS II system showcases new auto-programmable
logic functions. "Interest in the CANTUS is still amazingly large," says
the managing director of the STAGETEC R&D in Berlin, Klaus Scholz. "People
are fascinated by the system especially in the outside broadcasting
field. Due to its flexibility, its small dimensions, and the low weight,
the CANTUS is extremely popular among customers in this area." adds
Scholz.
DELEC, a highly specialised intercom-system manufacturer and the latest
syndicate member, presented their products on the Mediagroup stand
for the first time at an international tradeshow. The integration of
DELEC in October 2002 was SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP's final step
on their way towards becoming one of the leading providers of integrated
system solutions. "The complexity of modern products and systems
has produced a massively increased demand for one-stop solutions," explains
Stephan Salzbrenner. "Now with five business units altogether,
we are in an ideal position to accommodate this demand."
The size of the stand also indicated the success and prosperity of
recent years. While many exhibitors had reduced the size of their booths,
the SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP presented their products on an
area of 120 m2, which was the largest of the 250 or so stands in Hall
8 of the RAI Congress Center in Amsterdam.
