Based on the universal, freely configurable CANTUS mixing-console
system, CINETRA was specifically designed as a film and multimedia console. Many
features of the CINETRA were completely redesigned from scratch to meet the high
standards imposed to a »real« multichannel console.

The Personalized Console
All CINETRA consoles – from small ADR recording consoles up to
large final-mix systems – are manufactured according to the customer‘s
requirements. |
| |
The Modular Concept
The modular concept of CINETRA and NEXUS allows not only for a customized
configuration of the overall system but also for implementing extra
features, for example, intercom systems. Subsequent adaptation to changed
requirements (for example, system extension with signal-processor boards,
I/O boards, or additional control panels) is no problem either. |
| |
Automation
CINETRA features a complete snapshot and dynamic automation functionality
for all audio parameters. Touch-sensitive encoders and faders provide
for quick and intuitive automation control. |
| |
Audio Quality
Digital audio-processing features with 40-bit
floating-point arithmetic, digital 32-bit mix buses, and the excellent
analog components of the NEXUS routing system ensure highest sonic
fidelity for recording and mixdown. |
| |
Flexible Channels and Buses
The free configurability of channel and bus distribution and the channel
structure that can be changed virtually at any time allow for an optimum
project-oriented adaptation to the most versatile environments. |
| |
Fibre-Optic Lines
The deployment of fibre-optic cables for system control and the routing
of audio signals, data, and wordclock simplify the installation and
make the system insusceptible to electromagnetic interference. |
