Software
The familiar Windows graphical user interface ensures a shallow learning
curve. The configuration computer is not required during the actual productions – the
console operates autonomously.
The configuration software enables numerous functions to be altered
at any time during operation. For example, this includes the following:
- I/O routing
- Order of signal-processing modules in the channels, groups, and mixes
- Association of channels to the various layers
- Master/slave-linking or stereo-linking of audio channels
Configurations set up by the user can be stored and recalled at any
time using the project-management features. Loading such a project file resets the
entire mixing-console system to the stored status. Further, these files are interchangeable
between consoles -
provided that they have identical hardware configurations.
The console contains a permanently stored user-defined default project.
This project can be used as a basis for individual projects. More projects can be
stored to dedicated buttons on the Master section for quick access. These predefined
projects help simplify the use of AURUS for less experienced users.
