Console
The AURATUS is just a control and operating device fitted with
between
8 and 24 channel strips and a master section. The console
is based on a lightweight construction and is available as desktop
or fitted models.
The console surface has a modular layout: A panel unit comprises
eight channel strips, allowing for three different console versions
with 8, 16, or 24 channels. (Of course, each console also includes
a master section.)

An AURATUS comprises the following operating panels: TFT
screens, multifunctional panels (for controlling aux sends, N–1 sums,
equalisers
etc.), fader panels, a central channel panel (assigned to
the currently selected channel), and a monitoring panel. For easy
maintenance,
the operating panels are connected to one another
via ribbon cables, which also supply the power.
The audio signals to and from nearfield speakers, headphones,
the multichannel goniometer, and the talkback microphone are transmitted
via the RJ45 connection. The redundant power supply is a
standard
feature of the AURATUS. The console does not require a
fan. |
