Console
Except for the integrated audio interfaces (for talkback, monitoring,
and goniometer), the AURATUS is just a control surface. Audio
processing is only performed on the XCMC slide-in board accommodated
in a NEXUS Base Device.
Versions
- Model A: 16 channel strips (left side), master section (monitoring
and channel panel), 8 channel strips (right side), fitted with
TFT screens throughout (meter bridge).
- Model B: 8 channel strips (left side), master section (monitoring
and channel panel), 8 channel strips (right side), fitted with TFT
screens throughout (meter bridge).
- Model C: 8 channel strips (left side), master section (monitoring
and channel panel), fitted with TFT screens throughout (meter
bridge).
- Other configurations available upon request.

Audio
AURATUS ships with a fixed number of channels, buses, and bus channels.
Channel structures are permanent. All processing sections and
resources are available at all times.
Formats
- Multichannel and/or stereo system, including multichannel monitoring,
solo functions, and pan controls
- Simultaneous stereo and multichannel mixing is possible
- Freely usable dedicated downmix channel for format conversions
(e.g. 5.1 to stereo)
