TrueMatch™ Converters
Introduced to US Pro Audio Market
Salzbrenner Stagetec proudly introduces TrueMatch® Reference Microphone Converter (RMC) - the only high-end combined mic preamp and A/D converter available for accurate and optimum sound imaging featuring 28-bit resolution and a dynamic range of 153 dB (A) with sample rates of up to 96 kHz.
"With the Salzbrenner Stagetec solution, microphones are now connected straight to the TrueMatch RMC - eliminating the need for conventional analog microphone preamps and A/D converters," explained Terry Marshall, President of North American Sales. "Our patented TrueMatch conversion technology offers a lower noise floor than the thermal noise of any microphone, allowing the microphone to determine the sound - not the preamp or the converter."
The art of the TrueMatch system is how is constantly traces and eliminates all circuit-related inaccuracies, while at the same time producing a perfectly linear result.
A large dynamic range provides for processing all conventional analog studio signals between -128…+22 dBu, with no need for enabling a PAD function. Clipping of microphone as well as line signals is virtually impossible. This makes live recording safe and simple.
Features such as the linearity and the extended dynamic range are the bases of the neutral and natural sound produced by the TrueMatch RMC. This becomes obvious especially in surround-sound applications where the artifacts produced by traditional systems are multiplied by the number of channels.
The TrueMatch RMC ships in a variety of versions ideal for individual applications such as re-mastering, live sound and music recording. Line and microphone inputs are also available as digital outputs for all prevailing audio format such as AES/EBU (S/PDIF), ADAT, TDIF, Y2, SDIF, or MADI. |
