Supreme functionality for Broadcasters

San Francisco, October 2008: Introduced in 2007 the AURATUS represents state-of-the-art audio technology by German manufacturer STAGETEC (a branch of SALBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP professional audio consortium) in an extremely compact and responsive mixing console designed for TV and radio broadcast studios and O.B. trucks. The AURATUS features superior sound quality and supreme functionality together with unrivalled user friendliness, making everyday production work easier than ever before. Current installations of AURATUS comprise major broadcasters such as Europe’s largest broadcasting house WDR (Germany), Chinese governmental broadcaster CCTV or France’s leading private radio RTL (Paris, France).

The AURATUS is available as standard version with up to 54 input channels and as XL version with up to 140 input channels, both with a hardwired bus layout featuring eight sums, eight aux paths and eight n-1 sums. Both versions support surround up to 5.1. Control surface construction is completely modular, based on an 8-channel grid, yet the surface layout can be chosen freely from 8 to 40 channel strips plus a master section. Audio processing is performed using high-end 40-bit floating point DSP modules and TrueMatch converters by STAGETEC. Extensive logic and control functions allow for control of external functions such as red lights, cueing and communications.
